The Sunday (3/16/97) San Francisco Chronicle had an interesting and readable interview with Vint Cerf (IP protocol development) by Laura Evenson. In it he gives the following:
1) credit for coining "internet": Bob Kahn. 2) 1st ARPAnet packet switch delivered: BBN => UCLA in September 1969. Did not contain anything.
