To Whom it May Concern,
I am teaching a college course in "Computer Science History" for Computer Science majors.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good textbook for this course?
I have been using the excellent "Bit by Bit" by Augarten, but it is out of print. I have been recycling ( literally ) the several copies of the textbook I have from one semester to the next, but they are beginning to fall to pieces. I would also like a book which includes more modern material.
Many thanks for any help you can give me!
Sincerely, Joan Lucas
