Community Memory: Discussion List on the History of Cyberspace ______________________________________________________________________
Think that technology dates back to about 1923 - know some of the first television devices from that period used spinning disks to map the picture (started with about 43 lines but increased quickly). Would need to look it up but think disk/colour began around 1926 (Lee DeForest ?)
