Community Memory: Discussion List on the History of Cyberspace ______________________________________________________________________

Hi everybody,

First of all, thanks for the LGP-30 info, which has been (is being) forwarded with comments to the interested party.

Now: As the first phase of a new long-range project, the CHAC is trying to construct as complete a list as possible of computer types -- makes and models -- designed, developed or manufactured in California. The existing sources of such material that we've been using, or know about, are _Computers and Automation,_ the Datapro books, Weik's Reports, CCM's book on Domestic Computers, and Haddock's catalog. Are there any other "bulk" databases that would disclose this information?

Individual contributions to the list are more than welcome especially if they include the addresses as well as names of manufacturers, and the approximate dates that manufacturing began and ended. Note also that the person who was asking about the LGP-30 would particularly appreciate information about vacuum-tube computers made or used in California.

TIA much,
