>I have been asked to write... "PC Videogames."
>I am having trouble doing the research because there is no written material (at least none that I can find) that provides the usual required stuff; dates, manufacturers and content...
I recall seeing a book at my local off-campus college news stand back in, oh, 1978 or 79 maybe 80, that was a game players book filled with hints about the then available arcade games. At least some of the information in some of the articles told when the game came on the market. One game was said to have been introduced in the year 2 BSI - Before Space Invaders. I just don't remember the name of the book but maybe the timeframe will help you ferret out a copy.
