There has been discussion on another list about the earliest appearances of pornography in CMC - this would include anything from ascii-outline images on.
On the Net, almost every new application immediately develops both a sense of community and sexuality - CuSeeMe or just about any MUD or MOO come to mind.
Any information would be greatly appreciated - about: 1. Sexual materials on mainframes or minis; 2. Exchange of sexual materials online before or after TCP/IP etc.; 3. Different media - text, ascii art, converted images, etc.
