Thank you everyone for letting me know that Data General is still around.
Having moved to NYC 7 years ago, I've lost track comings and goings of the mini-computer manufacturers up there: (Digital, Data General, Wang, Stratus). I was wondering if Massachusetts has recovered economically from the decline in the high-tech industry in the late 1980's (about the time of the growth of corporate PC's)? I'm sure Lowell, MA (Wang's headquarters) took a big hit, and I also have seen a decline in downtown Worcester (near Digital's, Wang's and Stratus's HQ's).
