We have been getting a little sloppy in our postings, so here is a reminder of appropriate posting style. Please try to adhere to this, as it will enhance the quality of your post and the experience of the reader:
When responding to a post, do not quote the whole message, and leave the list signature. This means I have to take it out by hand, and clean it up, and then repost the messaege -- which is not much fun. So delete those quoted lines which are not needed.
When posting make sure your subject line describes your post -- i.e. if you get the list in digest form erase the subject line which reads CYHIST digest blah blah to read what your post is actually about.
Also, please begin the subject line with CM> This is nice because it sets the posts apart in people's inboxes, and makes them easier to sort and file. See this post's header as an example of this.
