SOLO.SWF is a Flah-based 30-35minutes audiovisual live performance for 1 performer/1 laptop.

An .swf executable file is launched. This file features sound+vectorial graphics correlated mappings grouped in coherent audiovisual families, thus creating pre-rendered audiovisual microuniverses.

The performer triggers each microuniverse via the laptop’s keyboard and animates it by mouse-dragging and by activating invisible buttons. The performer may swiftly pass from one microuniverse to the next thanks to the ‘lightness’ of the files, therefore creating/improvising the performance in real-time.

As the performance proceeds the single microuniverses start mixing one into the other creating a wider audiovisual realm.

The result is a deconstructed computer universe that expands with improvised time.

Please note that the project SOLO.SWF is intended to be a live audiovisual performance but can also be shown as an interactive audiovisual installation.
