Magnhildøen, Plaintext Performance
I'm working on this piece which seems apt to the symposium. It's a live writing performance over the net which is combining 1) keyboard writing, 2) machinated, algorithmic writing, and 3) feeds from the processes surrounding the writing (like system monitoring, net connection monitoring, ftp log, etc). All in realtime and plaintext. Keeping to generic formats the performance is streamed over the web in a regular browser (URL to be given later). Between 30 minutes and 1 hour in duration maybe, whatever fits the program best. As an option I can also include a talk session running parallelly with the performance as a realtime interface for comment/question/answer - using the generic unix y/talk program (address to be given later).
