Since I'm from Morgantown, I run into other people who I know pretty often. Sometimes if I'm in a hurry or if I'm feeling a little anti-social, I'll take the Pleasant Street bridge instead of the Walnut Street bridge since I'm less likely to run into people I know there. I like to look across at the Walnut street bridge, a block away, and count the people who I know who are walking across it, who I would have had to stop and make small talk with if I had chosen that route.

You can also see the dog park from the Pleasant Street bridge. It always makes me happy to watch the dogs running and playing together from the top of the bridge. Sometimes I think I pay more attention to my canine neighbors than my human ones. I even tried to set up a dog walking service in South Park, but I couldn't get any long-term customers.
