Trey Room Story
Story
When the room was a blue/white pin stripe, Trey still slept in a crib. We "gated" him in the room because he would crawl (could not yet walk) out of his crib, slide down the steps, and pull up and open the refrigerator (we eventually had to find a lock for it). We would find him, sometimes at 3 am, laying on a beanbag in the informal eating/study area singing non-sensical songs and eating whatever he had found in the frige. After we gated the room, we found him each morning sleeping on the floor with a favorite blanket and his head pushed up against the gate.
Secret: Because Trey's room is in the upstairs, back corner of the house and his mattress is one of the most comfortable of all of the mattresses, this is the perfect room to sneak away to for a nap. They never find me here!
