Evolution
The walls of this upstairs foyer were lined with red two-shelf bookcases, full such children's books as Mary, Betty, Lizzie McNutt?'s Birthday, Pat the Bunny, Goodnight Moon, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, Is Your Mama a Lama, along with every Dr. Suess title.
Though the shelves are no longer a part of this room, I kept the books. I spent many wonderful moments reading them to my children--I could never give their favorites away.
