Kristen Room Evolution

Evolution

This room was already papered for girls, so I guess that is why we gave it to Jordan and Kristen. I bought two iron beds at the antique fair at the Meadows in Pittsburgh, PA, painted them white, and placed them side by side with maybe about four feet in between. There are four windows in this room. One opposite the door and three shaped in a bay area in the front of the room.

After Jordan moved into her own room, we sold the beds and bought antique white furniture for Kristen that included a canopy bed. I then papered the walls with a wide-striped muted light blue and yellow paper which gave the room an aura of a happy sort of calm.
