All of the items above began to either disappear or be replaced as our needs changed. I papered the walls in bright red, green, blue stripe on white background and matched the crown molding around the top of the ceiling in red. I wanted the room to be bright and cheerful, and it is. Now we have placed:

• A table with five chairs near the two windows
  
• A sideboard that displays plates, cups, and bowls
  
• A three-part computer hutch
  

In the cabinet:

• Books (both for children & adults)
  
• Computer supplies
  
• Picture Albums
  
• T.V
  

We now use the stairwell closet to store school supplies, board games, and tennis racquets. Framed artwork the kids created in elementary school decorates the walls.
