Evolution

Because of the large, four-door, built-in oak cabinet, I believe this was the original dining room in the house. This room, more than any other, has evolved to fit the needs of our growing family. Since the room was just off the kitchen, we originally made it a playroom. We placed:

  • Two This End's Up loveseats along the walls
  • Bean bag chairs on an old fake oriental rug
  • A Little Tykes picnic table in the right corner

In the cabinet:

  • T.V.
  • Disney and Sing-a-Long videos
  • Children's Books, all shapes & sizes

We used the closet under the staircase to store toys.
