free Chick-fil-A chicken biscuit

...mmmm, my favorite:

Various small objects rest on the desk in my study as a result of my negligence to place them where they belong. Among these are a pen, a highlighter, multiple pieces of blank and used paper, a pair of scissors, a CD case, two blank recordable CD’s, a coupon for a free Chick-fil-A chicken biscuit, a hole puncher, and a thumb drive.

Among the many untouched items that have collected on my desk since the beginning of the semester is a coupon for a free Chick-fil-A chicken biscuit. This particular item was placed there last semester after the new Chick-fil-A on Patteson Drive had its grand opening. For several days before the opening, the restaurant handed out free sandwiches to every drive-through customer. In addition to the sandwiches, each customer also received a coupon for a free biscuit, hence the one on my desk.

I, my self tend to stay away from fast food, yet Justin can never resist a free meal. During the days of the sandwich giveaways, he visited Chick-fil-A at least once a day if not more frequently. He stockpiled the coupons for free biscuits and has used them on random mornings this semester on his way to school. The one on the desk, however, he's never taken. While he refuses to admit that he has had his fair share of chicken biscuits and is tired of them, I believe that is the reason this coupon has remained on the desk for so long.

Among the other unused items on my desk, as I mentioned before, is the stereo.
