In elementary school where I grew up we were given cubby-holes. They were the neatest thing at the time. I refer to my room as a cobby-hole because when I first moved in and walked inside I was immediately reminded of elementary school and the cubby-hole. I used to but my book bag in their along with a jacket. It was always a race to see who could get to theirs the fastest. I would decorate mine with stickers and pictures from books. That is what I kind of did with my room I took the smallest space possible and worked with it to personalize it as much as possible.
